Tuesday

Am)11 miles at minus 17 degrees. I took a different approach this morning, the 'ignorance is bliss' one. Woke up at 5:00am and just got dressed in my jogging clothes... all of them... and took out in the dark. I ran Coal Creek Heights up to Shimley which tops out at 9200ft. My eyelashes kept freezing together. There was a fairly heavy and steady snowfall once I got up closer to the pass and the air looked foggy, but it was too cold for fog.
When I got home I looked and the thermometer said -17 with windchill.

It's too bad you didn't still have the face insulation... You would have no doubt had some good ornaments hanging off that bush...

Have you came across any Mtn Lion tracks in the snow yet?

I am willing my beard to grow fast. I definitely will be rocking the hill billy face ASAP.
No pooma tracks yet. I've been sticking to the roads for the better footing.

If you come across any black panthers you can make cologne out of them...with real bits of panther. :)
I thought I was hardcore today running in the 20's but I'm no match for negative temps!!! Awesome!
