Am)11 miles at minus 17 degrees. I took a different approach this morning, the 'ignorance is bliss' one. Woke up at 5:00am and just got dressed in my jogging clothes... all of them... and took out in the dark. I ran Coal Creek Heights up to Shimley which tops out at 9200ft. My eyelashes kept freezing together. There was a fairly heavy and steady snowfall once I got up closer to the pass and the air looked foggy, but it was too cold for fog. When I got home I looked and the thermometer said -17 with windchill.
