10 miles of running last week. Maybe not the best way to approach a 50 mile run in 3 weeks but I'm almost masochistically curious how I will do if I just trained 10 miles a week. Sort of an experiment to see how much cycling helps running. Of course I then have moments of reality followed by panic followed by the realization that at mile 20 of Silver Rush I'll be a pile of useless cyclist on the side of the trail. I'll try to get at least 20 miles in this week.

I haven't been able to ride it but one time... spending 9 hours on an unfamiliar ride doesn't sound too good (almost like training 10 miles a week for a 50 miler). I love this bike and a hard tail is very adequate at Pb as it has very little tech stuff, mostly roads. It'll be nice to be on my own bike.

Mike and Sue- You're right! Which is why I'm not running very much... I don't want to sabotage my 'A' race which is the Leadville 100 bike.
