Wednesday recovery jog + Walker at MAF HR.

Am) 5 miles in 38:39 (7:43 pace) with an average HR of 134/ max HR 140. Both my hips and obliques are torqued from a new core exercise I learned yesterday. Too complicated to explain. I logged 30:00 of core and weights last night with 4 sets of 12 box jumps wearing my 10 pound Camelbak full of sand. Holy crap... I thought I was fit until that.

pm) Walker Ranch in 1:11 at HR max 150/ average 143. HR seemed elevated- probably because it was hot. This morning's run was in 40 degree temps. That might be an FKTATLPOLTHR (fastest known time at the lowest percentage of lactate threshold heart rate). Walker only has 1560 feet of gain... for some reason I thought it was more?

My shoulders are sore from a tough workout I did today. It's called painting--and you sometimes have to hold your arm up for, like, 5 minutes at a time. I AM SO STRONG.

Ummmm....on second thought, perhaps I need some of your Rocky-style work outs so painting no longer requires a heart rate monitor.

Ha! All you need is a 50# log, a 10 foot length of log chain and a sledge hammer.

with a paint brush taped to the end of the sledge hammer.

Tim... brilliant. And just in time for the re-release of Karate Kid. That would give Danielson something to whine about.

Putting wax on a car with a sledge hammer... love it.

Brett- It took me an hour to think of that one. I think they just roll out of GZ naturally.
