Thursday video blog post.

I ended up somewhere north of 4 hours for this 'run'. Sorry the video is so long, and this is only 1/3 of what I shot. Fun day.

Video says no longer available...was it just porn?

It seems to work for me. And yes- it is really good porn.

I think I had the setting on private view. Is there a better video sharing site? You tube doesn't let you edit videos or combine them in to a single video...

Works now.

Did you get that route from JV? Ha!

I do all my video editing on my computer and then upload the finished product to Vimeo.

There was no route. I just went up. I lost my movie making software for my camera.

Tim, tim, tim.....this must have been the grown-up version of a sack lunch in the pasture and out-running wild dogs. I hope you're up to date on Survivorman!

Gnarly Brah!!!
Haha, awesome! Thanks for the video blog. Unbelievable views! Did you see any animals? What a ridiculously cool place to run. I'm so jealous!
Just curious, what was tougher, going up or coming down?

crazy stuff. I would have shit myself knowing there were no little red or blue or yellow markers telling me which way to go! Amazing. Beautiful views. Hope you thawed out.

"To scare animals away, I kept clearing my throat in an exagerrated and loud way."

I immediately thought of this movie...skip to 3:30...

Cool clip, kind of like Blair Run Project.

TOTALLY was thinking it was like LOTR right before you said it.

Totally a JV route.

No snow, I found surprising.

Glad to hear you above MAF. ;)

Quote of the day ... "this is a pussy mountain."

Thanks for sharing. Cool stuff. I think you get to name that peak if it is not named.

Did you ever hear the story of Danelle Ballengee when she went out last year and fell ...? (sort of reminds me of your "roll my ankle" reference)

Epic day! Not like swimming across Lake Washington during storms.... but epic!

Wende- I forgot about that. Ya, pretty similar!

Dave- the down was tougher for sure. Getting down the boulder field was tricky. I have video of hauling ass down through the trees almost out of control but it's pretty chaotic and shaky.

Ironmatron- You? From what I can tell you seem pretty tough... you would have dropped me and beat me to the top.

Brett- Holy cow, I forgot about that movie! Hilarious! Chevy Chase is awesome.

GZ- You and your damn abbreviations :) I never know what you're talking about. What is LOTR? Lame Old Trail Runner? I was thinking about Aron Ralston too. I had a knife with me. But I was telling my wife, it wouldn't have been nearly as bad as DB or AR (there, I'm getting the hang of it) because it would have been a downhill crawl, no canyon to climb out of. I love those two stories. We can all learn from them. Not sure if it's named, but I like your ditch name, hilarious.

JP- I've had more epic swims than anything else. In the Caribbean for sure and the I-90 bridge. Kind of weird that I'm a runner and not a swimmer.

LOTR is Lord of the Rings.

Ah, got it.
