pm)7 miles to get 20 for the day. Another beautiful run. The roads are like slick single track in spots and the temperature was damn cold. Our outside thermometer is covered in snow and I'm too lazy to clear it off. Beautiful running though. I'll never stop being amazed at how silent it is up in the snowy trees, literally not a sound, what I imagine being in space would be like. My legs felt incredible from the start. I love this!
And JP's post from today lends me more thoughts on staying healthy rather than running BASIC on Saturday.

There's nothing better than that calm quiet there is in the woods-especially in the snow. If a "true quiet" exists, that's surely it!
The Boulder Basic Backroads Slog.
JP- I am sort of an anti-hiker... no BASIC for me.
Dave- I used to think diving was quiet, but even under water is louder than the deep woods.
