Wednesday 16 miles

16 miles in the fastest and hardest hitting blizzard I've seen in Colorado. I was heading home and in less than 30:00 it was complete white out conditions, by the time I walked in the door there was 5" of snow. If I would have brought my ton-ton I may have cut him open and gotten inside.

That should read tauntaun..

It was sick man.. white out conditions and I had run down to the reservoir.. so the last ~6 miles was just a brutal climb. I closed one eye against the snow and it froze shut. No foolin. Do you remember that run we did from my house with Jeff in the blizzard? That was a winter wonderland compared to today. You know how it gets up here! I'm totally pumped though.. it was awesome.

That pic reminds me of a Ted Nugent concert that I saw back in 78'... About an hour into the show, he pulls off the two wristbands he's wearing and wrings them out on stage, his comment.. "That's the work of a hard working mother f**ker".. Tim, your one hard working mother f**ker!!!!

I think I'm going to borrow/ steal this line from you- "That reminds me of a Ted Nugent concert that I saw back in 78'". I might just reply to everyone with that line from now on.
I'm sincerely jealous that I missed the greatest decade of music that has or ever will be.
But I didn't realize that Ted cussed?! ;)

Where I come from, that's a runner! Mind you, where I come from, I get stuff like that for 5 months of the year. :(

If it's any consolation, ice makes a good insulator (seriously!).

CDN- Ya, it's not that big of a deal really, especially to a lot of people norther than us. We've had an amazingly mild winter up here! I love running in those conditions.. The entire chest of my jacket iced over and made for great windproofing!
