Sunday 0 miles.

Saturday was 0 miles too. I'm completely crashing with my motivation to exercise. We moved 4 truck loads of stuff from our old house today. Things that we used to stage it... it sold in 4 days by the way (the housing market troubles are misleading when you live in Boulder County) and we close on Tuesday. Jo isn't able to lift anything heavy right now so I fought and battled a couch, 2 beds, an antique card catalog (Jo is a librarian) and a gazillion other little things by myself. Now I have to work the rest of the day. Alan and I are starting up next week too and my workload will triple. I don't handle stress well on top of all this. Jogging is far from my mind right now. I go through this every year, I was really thinking I would make it to December though.

Do we know what your last name is yet? Although I like Wolverine (and Ocho Cinco), how will we refer to you and your blog. Will you just be a "one-namer" like Madonna, Liberace, Bono, etc.?

i'm going to make a really sexist statement but i think that, in general, women are better at dealing with stress because they are able to multi-task better and they know how to ask for help when they need it.

the good news about this is that it means that you probably aren't a girl but the bad news is that you obviously aren't busy enough cause you still seem to have plenty of time to feel sorry for yourself;).

you don't have to feel "motivated" everyday to train, sometimes i think it is okay to just get out there and go through the motions until that feeling comes back(and know when to ask for help when you need it in the meantime....).

Hey now missy... anytime you want to come out do an easy jog with me I'm just a few miles south of you.. I'm not laying around retired, just tired. When are you going to sign up for an Ironman next year?

Hey Lucho,

I'm gearing up for Ironman Florida this coming Saturday. I've been following your blog and training closely throughout the year. Your enthusiasm for running (and Ironman) has inspired me and my training when things got tough. I also appreciate you taking the time to answer many of my questions throughout the year. Keep up the good work. And thanks.
