Tuesday 9 miles Track Threshold intervals.

am) 9 miles:
4 mile warm-up with 2 X 200 in 38" to get a feel for the paces..
4 X 1 mile on 1' rest.
#1- 5:15 max HR 168.
#2- 5:19 max HR 169.
#3- 5:13 max HR 176.
#4- 5:14 max HR 178.

Average HR for the 4 miles was 173.

but what do you fix as your target for the next marathon ? sub 2h30?

I ran 2:30 at Denver- altitude, 34 degrees and raining... I had better go under 2:30! I don't think that 2:24 will be out of reach if my jogging goes well over the next 15 weeks.
