Thursday 9 miles.

Jeff came over this morning and we ran in the cold and wet spring snow. It turned out to be nice running weather. My HR averaged 141.. Jeff's was 135. Dammit. I'll win next time!!!

Lucho,
I love the MAF "race"/sense of humor. I just ordered the Dr.'s Method book and another one of his about the feet. I'm going to be in MAF school for a loooooong time, hopefully at about 150.

Looks like I will miss the MAF fun this week. Maybe I can come back for a contest of the biggest loser ... the guy who drops his MAF HR pace. ;)

And I actually had my pockets full of our Lead Wheels Weights. :)

FYI- on one of our long rides when TL and I first met, I thought I was hanging with him, until he showed me a bag full (honestly) probably about 10lbs. of Lead Wheel Weights... yea, that was a reality check. :)

And then I remember the day I was killing myself and I looked back at Jeff and he was yawning.. my HR was ~155 and his was 120. Same thing he just did to a few hundred guys that he just destroyed at Cali. 70.3!!

I'll never forget when Lucho blasted by me and Tim DeBoom at the Boulder Peak Triathlon, and then started telling jokes halfway into the ride. I was completely anaerobic and here's Lucho smiling and pointing the turns out in an animated manner. DeBoom didn't know what to think, but then he's a bit devoid of personality. It must've been the weights, Lucho. I still laugh when I think of this.

Obviously my HR reference in my first post is way too high! But would you expect anything else from one so green as me.

Lucho, et al., more ironman lore!
