Sunday 26 miles- 2:46. Week total 140 miles. Caveman..

More thoughts on this run. The course was hilly. My first mile was slow, about 8:00 (I'm getting old) and my last mile was a cool-down of sorts- it was about 8:00. I was holding 6:00-6:05 pace for much of the first 14 mi. with surges down to 5:30 pace for short periods.
Here's a killer.. I ran the first 14 with out my Camel Bak, then stopped at 14 and put it on.. rough adding that weight! It played a significant role in my pacing but allowed me to stay hydrated. The most important data point for me was my HR deflection. Normally HR will climb over the workout.. my HR only deviated maybe 10 beats during this entire run while my pace held very steady. Only maybe a 20" difference between the first 10 miles and the last 10 miles. This shows me that my fitness is doing pretty good.
140 mile week with 4 quality runs... I'm on my way.
