Sunday 26.2 miles- 2:57

Above are a couple of pics from my long run today. I started out with Jeff and Mark who just raced Kona, Jenni who just won her AG at Duathlon worlds, and Gordo who is on a rest break from a big year of getting ridiculously fit. I ran with G earlier this summer a few times and the guy was stronger than ever. It was fun to run with a group again and laugh. They turned around early though so I was left with a few more miles. Chuck rode his MT bike along with me for company and the views out on the course were great. The weather was too warm for my taste, nice for sure though! 75 degrees in November.. that's Boulder for you. I got 26.2 miles in just under 3 hours with my average HR at 135.. ridiculously low, my LT is 178-180. The volume was simple and I think I need to run those long long runs either faster or upwards of 30 miles. I didn't feel yesterday's 10k race at all.

So I look at these pics of a guy who is running 26.2 miles in just under 3 hrs @ avg HR of 135, which is incredible in and of itself, and I notice no fuel belt, water bottle, aid stations etc.????
