No damage I hope.

I can deal with the running this week, but it's certainly not my favorite weather. I'm also... disinclined... to do long runs until it warms up.

Bummer! Have you tried leaving the faucet on to a trickle on super cold nights?

Donna- Ya, it's always greener on the other side! I am fairly content in this weather though. I have my full beard (Skaggs means "bearded one" in Norwegian).

Mtrunner- Ya, no long runs for sure. My face got burnt yesterday and then today is really hurt in the cold after only 40:00. It's February besides, no sense in getting medieval at this point.

623- I will now! You should have left this comment yesterday ;)
Thanks!

Good you bought that sweet new furnace.

No sense in getting medieval in February... UNLESS you live in a climate where you can ride in a sleeveless jersey year round. In *this* case, you should be doing back to back long days, right? ;)

Tim- Yep. You were here when I bought it!

MammaS- I said I wouldn't get medieval... but I didn't say I wouldn't get medieval on my lucky Hawaii athletes! I'll live vicariously through you.

i hope you thawed out overnight. btw, my "bearded one" thinks your side is much greener and would gladly deal with sub-freezing temps if he could live in a mountain cabin away from the rat race.

The house and land prices up here are ridiculously low right now. We pretty much stole our house for ~130k below appraisal. And there's an 80 acre lot (with it's own 10,500ft peak and tons of solid single track) for sale behind my house for 250k. Right now the grass is whiter on the other side.
