A few minutes (literally) after Oliver soaked my camera in a glass of water I was on e-bay and bought another. A $289 new in the box Canon Power Shot SD1300 IS digital Elph for $100 (free shipping) arrived this morning! I hadn't realized how much I used my camera until I didn't have one.
A few pics from today with the new camera...
My workout today. The I-Fab is awesome... definitely will be my bike choice at Leadville.
Hercules Double IPA... nectar of the Gods if there ever was one.
We had a fondue party on Saturday and this is the box that the liquor store put my beer in. Maybe the coolest 'logo' I've ever seen. Has anyone ever had White Hawk IPA? Any of you California folk (Matt)?
And The Sunki Mountain Running Camp only has 6 spots left. We'll be updating our website next week with more detail.

I was joking in the comments of my blog when I said that we'd need a toddler jogger hooked up to the bike for us to ride together. Now I see that I'll just need to get a friend and it will be a party!
By Summer my boys will tip the trailer weight to 150 pounds. What do you weigh? If I'm going to pull you around in the trailer you and your friend had better be light! Like heroin light.
White Hawk is decent. Not my favorite, but good.
Save the old camera, I have heard numerous stories about electronics getting dropped into water and eventually drying out and miraculously working.
a guy I work with put his ipod through the washing machine a year ago and it's still working.
I wouldn't hold my breath though.
Tim- The camera's lens 'compartment' (or whatever) was literally filled with water. I go tit to turn on one time and the optics looked warped. Then after that I couldn't even get it to turn on. I took the back off and there was no way to open the lens compartment, it's completely sealed. I figured it would have cost me maybe $60-100 to have it repaired. I bought a brand new one with free shipping on e-bay for $100.
Sell the old one on ebay. "Camera with added effects filter!!"
