The weather has finally broke and the sun is shining for the first time in a lot of days. We still have a bit of snow on the ground around the house and a ton of snow up on the higher roads. I have to admit that I'm starting to look forward to Summer a bit although in the Summer up here it is still in the 40's in the mornings. Today was an easy jog of maybe 3 miles. My wife has been sick with a stomach bug and yesterday we changed Oliver's clothes 3 times because he is sick. I felt my stomach start to turn a bit and I definitely feel off. Could make for a tough week of running.

I guess you're coming down to NM this weekend, huh? Did I overlook you last time I looked at the start list or did you just get on?

Really looking forward to getting up there in the mountains - appears to be a pretty epic course. Some of the climbs are off the charts. Sweet.

Brett- sickness averted I think. I did a 24 hour vegetable juice fast that basically scoured my lower GI tract.

Nick- I was the last person to get in. A few days after Collegiate Peaks. And here I thought you were snubbing me in the preview:) Although with my racing abilities I probably wouldn't include myself!
Ya, it should be totally bad ass. I read that we go cross country some too! Should be a few Green Mountainesque climbs in there.

Hey blog. Got here through my friend, Bill's blog. Looks like I'll enjoy reading back through some of your prior posts. Just read the run up the mountain in your last post. Good stuff. Glad you averted illness.
