9 miles. Average HR 140 (!)/ average pace 8:12. No magic... probably because I wore my HRM and ran a structured hill interval. Too much thought. I chilled on the downs and rolled the early hills then finished with a 2.5 mile uphill effort between HR 150-160. It was tough to elevate my HR which is both a sign of fitness and/or fatigue. PE was high so I suspect it's part fatigue. It did feel good though to have to push quite hard to elevate HR above 150 which is a far cry from needing to walk last week.
No second run, so I will concede today's mileage to GZ. My wife is going to a party after work so I have the boys from 8:00am until ~10:00pm. If Mars and Jupiter happen to align perfectly though, and both boys nap simultaneously, there's an outside chance of a bike workout.
