Just dipping my toe in... not bad.
2 liters of Gatorade with 3 swallows every mile to 2 miles. It was so cold that my body wasn't holding water and I peed about 6 times. 1 Powergel every 6 miles. 27 degrees to start and damn... damn cold at 9000+ ft. 2 layers on legs, 3 layers up top with compression tights and full compression top and my beard, which is coming in nicely.
The true gauge for how hard a run was, is to see how you feel for the 48 hours after the run. If I feel great tomorrow, and even more importantly on Thursday, then this was pretty easy. It felt easy, but as GZ would say... whatever. It would be like running 8 miles and then saying that the marathon will be easy!
