Wednesday 4 miles.

4 miles easy jogging. Legs feel great, head isn't on straight.. my insomnia is back in full force and I'm starting to turn in to Trevor Reznik.. I'm not on the floor with a bottle of bleach and a tootbrush yet tough. There's some obscure movie trivia for you. One of my favorite movies ever by the way.
Met with Alan in regards to Soulpepper Sports. We're starting the group runs soon, they'll be on Saturday with more days in the works. If anyone in the area is interested we are trying to decide on a start time.. any suggestions are welcome. We're thinking 8:00am. Alan ran 6 miles today with his last mile in just 5:04... he said he hasn't been running. Damn him. That's what it means to be 'elite'.

I'm in Louisville and excited about the store, but I'm scared about showing up for a group run to find you, Alan, and Jeff, or some combination thereof. It's like the nightmare I used to have about being in the boxing ring with Mike Tyson - no chance of survival. Will you guys fit in a "mere mortal" group run during the week? I suggest Sunday mornings or even weekdays.

you need to get on top of the whole not sleeping thing! not good for many reasons.
i like to self medicate with wine on occasion.

Vaughn- The group runs will be catered to "mere mortal" runners looking to run mellow. I will be organizing run groups focused specifically on racing. The routes will be anywhere from 3 miles up to 12. Alan and I won't be running with the group all the time. Our goal is to get people to connect and run with like minded individuals. Hopefully we can get a big enough group that all types of runners will be represented. We are going to have another group run during the week, maybe in the evening? We talked about Sunday but it seems that everyone is doing their key long runs on Sunday?

Kerrie- Christian Bale.. he was also the baddest assest Batman in the world... maybe even in the whole county.
American Psycho was brilliant!
Patrick Bateman: "Did you know that Whitney Houston's debut LP, called simply Whitney Houston had 4 number one singles on it? Did you know that?"

Elizabeth: "You actually listen to Whitney Houston? You own a Whitney Houston CD? More than one?"

Patrick Bateman: "It's hard to choose a favorite among so many great tracks, but "The Greatest Love of All" is one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation, dignity. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instills one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. Since, Elizabeth, it's impossible in this world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It's an important message, crucial really. And it's beautifully stated on the album."

I usually finish up my last mile in like 5:02 or so- just jogging it in... whatever Alan. :)

Vaughn- don't sweat it, it'll be fun and we can go various speeds during and/or run out and backs where we'd see the people in the group...right Tim?? I guess I'm already inviting myself.

Lucho, I too am a huge Bale (Batman and Patrick Bateman) fan.

Have you read "American Psycho" the book? As good as the movie is, the big is way better.

Patrick Bateman: [excusing himself from Detective Kimball] Listen, you'll have to excuse me. I have a lunch meeting with Cliff Huxtable at the Four Seasons in 20 minutes.
