am) 10 miles. No HR/ no watch.. all easy jogging. My knee feels very good today- only a faint tightness. Post run there is no soreness. Also, I stopped wearing my Newtons 2 weeks ago and the pain in my foot is steadily going away. Today is the first day in months that I felt no discomfort. Although I like the 'idea' of the Newtons.. I may have to back pedal and retract my original thoughts on the shoes. I should have known- as the 2 pairs that I have, were given to me by guys that were hurt by them.
pm) 11 miles in 1:15.. avg. HR 146. Max 151. Still took it easy to make sure my knee is solid. I may try to run some AeT miles tomorrow.
