Friday 0 miles.

I had every intention of waking up early to get a run in before Jo went to work, but last night at 11:30pm Ben had different plans for my day. We are trying to teach him to sleep on his own and he really doesn't like being away from us, bless his heart! He was awake, and not happy, for 2 hours. Not only was it loss of sleep but it was gut wrenching agony and stress knowing that love of my life was in pain. So, I actually slept past 5am for once. No baby jogger, that would have been getting mileage just to make my training log look good. So I rested... I've heard rumors that that concept works for some. That and "eating"... I'll try that next week.

I enjoy your blog and wish you the best at the Denver Marathon. I am a triathlete and am working on my run over the winter, so I enjoy reading about your training. I'd be interested in hearing more about your diet. You never hear much about what you crazy fast runners eat, except carbs, and I don't think that's always the case. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
