Dave came over this morning for a 10 mile, 2000ft vertical jog... the self proclaimed crappy hill climber dropped me on a climb. Damn kids.
Then we had an awesome barbecue. Lots of meat, great IPA and great friends.
Then it started to snow...
Mount Evans looks to have a sweet field. Two elite marathoners. Michael Aish (2:14 marathoner) and Jason Delaney (2:19 at Boston this year) Glenn Randall raced well at Bolder Boulder today but isn't entered at Evans (yet), he's the defending champ. There's $750 on the line for a course record.

Lucho: I'm registered for Mt. Evans and excited about it. Where did you see who's registered for the race? I can't find a list.

There isn't a list. The RD lives up the street from me.
ReplyDeleteI just hope the race goes to the summit this year. With all the snow still up above Summit Lake, you never know.
ReplyDeleteI love what the Mt. Evans website says: "be inspired". Since you don't have a coach, I'll remind you to do just that and enjoy the day. That's usually when you do your best!
ReplyDeleteI think Lucho has a coach - It's his Central Governer. I think he tells his coach to eff-off sometimes.
ReplyDeleteWyatt- The road is open to Summit Lake and I'll be checking further up on Thursday when I run it...
ReplyDeleteMike- So true! No watch, just run and enjoy it.
Rick- I fired my Central Governor a few weeks ago. It wasn't working out.
I never listened to mine, that's why I asked you for some help.
ReplyDeleteGood call... I hate politics.
