Am) 11 miles average pace 6:57 with fartlek pushing to sub 5:00 pace.
Then immediately to the bike for 3:00 with a steady effort. I hit a piece of something on a fast descent and double flatted at ~30mph. One spare tube (which was reminiscent of my last Ironman where I double flatted and waited for 15:00 for the mech vehicle) So I changed the rear and then stuffed both flat tubes in to the front tire and rode it out.
Yea sometimes when you pass over the sound barrier it can cause a flat I have heard.
