Olivia visited us this evening looking for a hand out. She ate from my hand and I sat out in the blizzard with her, after her treat she flirted with some funny antics. She walked up to me and thanked me with a head nod/ sniff before trotting off to hunker down for the night. We're in one of our worst snow storms of the year right now and I'm jonesing to get out for a run... but alas my desire to also hunker down for the night and cuddle up with my boys is a bit stronger.
Last night we had my wife's 40th birthday party. I made a cake, our neighbor Marissa made a cake and Super G (Mr. Kerrie Wlad) made a cake. Fun time with family and friends. That's me and my sister. We had 13 kids jacked up on cake, 2 hired babysitters, and 20 adults jacked up on cake, beer, and wine. I started my cake (the first picture) at ~10:30am and finished it as the first guests were arriving at 5:00pm. I baked the cake itself on Friday and froze it, so that's ~6+ hours of decorating. My heads a bit blurry this morning and I'm not sure my liver can take a long run...

Dude! That is impressive! Between Lightning Mcqueen and this I'd sign up with you for baking lessons in a heartbeat! Wow... And from the looks of the 'after' pics it looks like it tasted as good as it looked!
Dude - you are a maniac with cakes. Wow.
Thanks Dave. The best tasting cake by far was Super G's, the big pile of white... it was amazing. Never judge a book by it's cover :)

Ha! Nope. Question is, does your better half? :-)
I am impressed...I think you may have another calling as a pastry chef....or a photographer - the photos of Olivia are priceless.
