Official diagnosis: "No fracture in bone scan"
Un-freaking believable... the results from my bone scan we're already in my e-mail inbox before I even got home... it's a 45:00 drive. Exempla Good Samaritan kicks ass (and it's where both my sons were born). And Chris Lee works in the imaging place and came in and kept me company for the last part of the scan. Thanks Chris- nice to meet you.
Anyone up for a 30 miler tomorrow :) Of course I'm not entirely serious.

AWESOME!!!! Glad to hear. Now go for a run!
and not entirely kidding either...
good news about the paw.
Eggscellent. :-)
Awesome. You should post the pictures...they are kind of cool.
I think a fracture would have lit up as a bright spot.
Thanks all. Chris. The pelvic shot has my bladder lit up like a light bulb from the isotope. The experience was pretty awesome and I learned a ton from Larry. Not that he told me anything :) Great hospital like I said. I had the results by the time I drove home!
so, why does your foot hurt so much?
Wende- Now THAT'S the big question. But I know what it isn't. A broken bone (IMO) would be the worst thing. I feel confident in running as long as it isn't busted. I'll go easy for a bit and see what happens.
Can we visit Cuba next year to see Michael?
Congrats! Glad you can run again. You were making me anxious. :)
Awesome. But more importantly....did you find out what "There is limit weight bearing and activity not completely." means?
Thanks- I haven't talked to my doc yet.
