Thursday 18 miles

First off... do you people like my playlist or is it annoying? Not that I'm going to change it, mind you. Just curious.

am) 14 miles. Here's the elevation profile.

Average HR was what it was. This run was difficult.

pm) 4 miles as slow as I could jog.

~700 feet(?) in the first three miles, at that elevation ... yeah, that is hard. I find I need to just forget pace on runs like that. Very humbling.

Look at mile 5.5-6.5.. that was brutal. These are the kind of runs that I have little choice but to get used to. This was on the fire/ dirt roads behind my house, a big loop.

The playlist is most appropriate... Inspirational reading along with inspirational music is a great combo for us middle athletic class people. It is always very informative to peek at the habits of human gazelles. Keep up the good work...

With that kind of terrain as your playground, maybe you should start training for something like the Zermatt marathon in Switzerland: 6250 feet of elevation. You'll kick ass there for sure!

Don't mind the playlist, it often gets me out of the door to go run. But you knew that already...

Love the playlist for my treddie runs. I actually borrowed most of your songs and added a few of mine.

I end up only listening to the first song, or part of it as I read your post. Maybe you can move the songs around so we get a different song each time we log on, or maybe change it once a week?

Pantheon- The Seether song is called 'You're No Jesus Christ' and it's about the haters of the world that are critical of others... it's far from being anti-religion. Ryan may like it?

I really enjoy reading about your running and the training tips/videos, but I find the automatically playing music very annoying. I usually have my own music playing and it is aggravating to visit a web page and have extra music going over what I was already listening to. Also, when I go to watch any of the videos on your site I have to stop your music to hear you the sound on the video. If you could offer a playlist but not have it auto-play I think that would be a great option.

Bill- Ya- I agree completely. When I go to other blogs I feel the same way. I'll look in to the option thing.. Cheers.
