Polar has a ...Derunzo- E-bay is the place to start. Polar has a long history and they make a ton of different models. I would definitely suggest ignoring all the bells and whistles on many of them. I happen to have been given a Garmin, so that's what I use mostly but I don't use any of the software or download stuff. You want the capability of collecting lap splits and average HR's for sure. But ya, you can find a good HRM for ~$40 probably.
