I know guys that have zero meniscus left and are still running. If you have a passion for the sport then you live with the discomfort. <BR/> I would guess that the advancements in knee replacement and the use of cadavers will soon be very good. The new hip caps (or refinishing) procedures are amazing and allow people to resume normal function in very little time.
