We were supposed to leave yesterday but an ice storm wreaked havoc on flights and now we're here until Saturday.
Last night I mapped a long run of 26 miles and I thought if I felt good I would push it. I headed out in 32 degrees and a fairly hard rain. We had over 20" of snow here this week so the roads were just sloppy. By mile 9 I was starting to lose body heat to the point where I knew I was going to be done very soon. There was no chance of making it over 2:30 in this weather though, I felt the tinglings of hypothermia even after just 1:15!
