Ah, man! This video came out so well! I'm really psyched you were willing to be interviewed like that. I imagine it was a head-trip, but goddamn did it make for a good watch. Thanks!
That's a great video. So well-done and I think they did a great job of capturing your philosophy and independence. What do you think about how it turned out?
P- Thanks for the good word! Ya man. They asked me some pretty awesome questions and I didn't know them before hand. The rambling was just off the cuff.
Thanks Dax. I think it turned out awesome. We shot for about 8 hours and I had no idea what they were getting or how it would look. I'm a bit embarrassed at the same time. Awesome video of a dork :)
That was fantastic. It was also fun filling in the mental picture of things you've talked about, like the circuit. I would take a workout with stuff in the yard over a gym any day. The more stuff you can do out your front door, the better.
Also recognized some of the sights, but not the trails so much. Was some of it Walker? I've driven up there but never gone for a run.
I know it is hard to watch a video of yourself; it is so easy to be over critical. But don't be, it was so well done and you come off as a super humble guy that everyone would want to be friends. Very Cool!
Inspiring video....! That did it---The "Old Man" is coming out of retirement....!! ;-) I went down into my basement training area and knocked out 3 X 5 min's @ 14:38/mile....and did 6 X 15 leg presses @ 275 lbs....not much compared to you but---remember the fable about the Turtle and the Hare.... ;-} (tongue in cheek)
"Quality of life is when you wake up and wouldn't change a thing" Great quote...awesome video. Your podcasts are also the best, most informative a listen to. If I could afford a coach, you'd be it. I'm a 60 year old runner, now for 37 years and am always trying to improve, you help me do that...Thanks...
Dude, I've always been a big fan of you and how you live, but DAMN was this video awesome! Congrats on it man and you should be proud. You're a huge inspiration to everyone that is lucky enough to come across this blog. Cheers man! Dave
I reckon I don't keep em there... usually someone comes and feeds me mustard and biscuits. Three or four times a week. No blade. There's a sideways horseshoe behind me. Sideways... that's important.
Dang man, that was something else! love to see it. good for you. jeff's comment made me laugh out loud. the 'good lucho'...sheeeeeee-it. cool vid. they must have edited out the rant about 'CIA wiretaps and area 41' haha
So cool and perfectly stated...loved the comment about the journey...the name of my blog is "Journey to 100 and beyond" leadville is going to be my 1st 100, and its not so much about that day its about getting there and the beautiful things you experience along the way! I got into trails and ultras last year after getting burnt out from triathlons and road races and love every second of it so far.

Dude. That is pretty sweet. To add to the dorkiness, I am gonna say this:
I am proud of you.
Of course, I am going to give you a total rash of shit about this video.
Have watched this 2x tonight. Awesome!
Thanks man. A rash of shit won't be the worst rash I've had. I look like the uni-bomber in my shed.
Thanks Damie!
Great video! Very well done.
This is exactly how I imagine you and your life to be from reading the blog and talking with you. Great video! Thanks for sharing!

Lucho, what can I say. That was very well done. Makes me think, what is my choice, to go harder? Sure, now I want too. Thanks for the inspiration.
Tim, I could watch it again and again! It's so well done and beautiful--very proud of you Brudda!
All editing... :) I love it.
Amazingly enough they were able to capture the elusive "good lucho"... :)

Mtnrunner2- Walker and a little bit in my yard.
Thanks sis!
Jeff- I think (hope) it's more that they avoided the elusive prick Lucho... these days I like to think that's how it is anyway. I miss you too man.
Art- Awesome man! Keep at it!
Cool insight. Awful music.
Thanks.
So what's in your i-pod/ CD collection? What do you consider good?

Dave man, thanks a ton!
Beautifully done. Something to show your grand kids someday.
BTW- Where do you keep the biscuits and mustard in that shed? What's that sickle shaped blade hanging on the wall- shaped line a "nanner."
I reckon I don't keep em there... usually someone comes and feeds me mustard and biscuits. Three or four times a week.
No blade. There's a sideways horseshoe behind me. Sideways... that's important.
Your quality of life explanation is spot on. Thanks for some good inspiration.
way cool tim, way cool. so out of 8 hours, they put out 5 minutes. did they give you a rough copy of the other 7:55.00?
Dang man, that was something else! love to see it. good for you.
